McNutt of Donegal
The McNutt family have been weaving since 1953 on the peninsula of Horn Head in County Donegal, in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. McNutt’s designs combine modern Irish style with Scandinavian aesthetics featuring bright solid colours, premium quality fabrics, and classic neutrals. The colours, textures and designs throughout their collections are inspired by the rugged coastline, untamed heathers and wild seas of Donegal’s coastline.
All McNutt's blankets, throws and scarves products are woven from natural fibres including wool, alpaca and cashmere. These fibres are naturally hypoallergenic, making them ideal for use by young children or anyone with sensitive skin. At the end of a long, long life these natural fibres are both biodegradable and recyclable, with recycled wool throws now available as part of their range.
