The return shipping cost is €7 regardless of the number of cylinders returned so we advise letting a few build up to spread the cost.

Usually your local convenience store or garage, DPD’s Pickup Points offer great flexibility – they’re open early until late seven days a week so you can drop off your parcel on your way to or from work, or at the weekend. There are over 600 DPD Pickup Shops across Ireland, find your closest one here.
You book, pay and print your label on the DPD returns portal. Note the price can vary slightly each month due to changing fuel surcharges.
How it works
- Book, pay and print your label - click the 'Book a Return' button below to start
- Click ‘Continue as Guest’, Select FAERLY from retailer dropdown and choose ‘Equipment Returns’ as reason for return
- Enter your last Faerly order number or email address in the ‘Reference Number’ field.
- Choose Medium parcel size, accept T&Cs and pay online
- Print return label and attach to box
- Pack up CO2 gas securely and ensure any old delivery labels or barcodes are removed or covered up
- Drop box to your local DPD pickup point and DPD will return the parcel to Faerly
- Once we've received your empty cylinders back, we’ll send you a discount code for the deposit amount of €10 per bottle returned. You can use this code against any future purchases of CO2 cylinders from us.
Book a Home Collection
We'll collect from your home address
Use this service and we will book a collection for you and DPD will pick up your parcel from your home address.The cost is the same regardless of the number of cylinders returned so we advise letting a few build up to spread the cost.
Just add this product to your basket and check out as normal. We'll email you a printable returns label to stick on the box. Just make sure to fill in your name, email or order number so we know the return is from you.
How it works

- Ensure any old labels or barcodes are removed or covered up and make sure that the gas cylinders are packaged securely so they won't move around during transport
- Your DPD driver will collect, usually in 1-2 working days and DPD will return the parcel to Faerly. If you will only be home on certain days please let us know in the order notes.
- Once we've received your empty cylinders back, we’ll send you a discount code for the deposit amount of €10 per bottle returned. You can use this code against any future purchases of CO2 cylinders from us

Frequently Asked Questions
What brands are your CO2 canisters compatible with?
CO2You and Aarke cylinders are are compatible with all major soda maker brands that use 60L threaded screw-in style CO2 canisters. This means they are compatible with all home use carbonators such as Soda Stream, Aarke, Drinkmate, Phillips and more. They are not compatible with Quooker Taps or Sodastream Quick Connect with the pink ring.
How long does a CO2 gas canister last?
You can carbonate up to 60L of sparkling water with the 425g / 60L CO2 gas canister. The length of use will therefore depend on how often you'll make and drink carbonated water.
We recommend that if you like your water very fizzy then one cylinder will probably make around 40L, and for a lighter level of carbonation make around 60L.
Can I send you an empty cylinder from another brand to get my deposit refunded?
Yes! We accept all standard “screw-in” cylinders in return - of any brand CO2YOU, Aarke, Sodastream etc. (Not Soda Stream Pink quick connect with the pink ring).
We accept standard 425g / 60L screw-in gas cylinders from different brands approved for use with sparkling water makers.
Your empty gas cylinders cannot be exchanged, however, if they are damaged or if they are Sodastream Quick Connect cylinders with the pink ring.
What if I don't have a printer to print the shipping label?
No problem! Just drop us a line at hello@faerly.ie and we can arrange a collection for you.
I've paid for a Home Collection - can I drop it to a DPD Pickup shop instead?
You can't as it's a different process with different shipping labels, but we can fix this for you. Contact us first and we can cancel the home collection and refund you. You can then book a return via a DPD pickup shop using the process above - just make sure to print the correct shipping label for this and attach it to the box.
How does DPD Home Collection work?
Once you've booked a home collection on our website, we will send you a confirmation (usually the next morning) by email. To ensure a smooth collection here are some important tings to know
DPD can collect anytime between 9am-6pm on your scheduled day
Unfortunately, specific collection times cannot be selected. Need to reschedule? Simply reply with your preferred weekday
Collections may happen at different times from deliveries (based on DPD routes)
Not home? We can arrange to collect from a safe outside location (like a porch) - just reply to our confirmation email to let us know.
Will DPD collect my empty cylinders at the same time they delivery my new ones?
Not necessarily as collections may happen at different days and times from deliveries and this depends on DPD's routing and varies by area.
Collections - We will send you send you a confirmation of your collection date - to change the day just reply to our email.
Deliveries - We will send a tracking email when your order ships and DPD will send your one-hour estimated delivery window on the morning of your delivery.
I haven't purchased CO2 cylinders from you before. Can I still send you back empties?
Yes! You don’t need to have purchased from us in the past but your deposit of €10 per bottle can only be used against the purchase of CO2 cylinders from us, no cash alternative is available.
How should I package the gas for return to you?
When ordering from us don’t toss the box, let’s reuse it to send back the empties.
Canisters should be packaged securely for return to us to ensure they arrive to us safely.
Pack cylinders securely in a strong, sturdy box
Ensure cylinders cannot move or roll within the box.
Don't send cylinders wrapped in plastic - use a box only.
Damaged cylinders cannot be accepted.
Use a single box only, do not use multiple boxes.
Include your name, email or order reference.
Minimum return is 2 cylinders and max is 12.
Remove/cover old shipping labels & barcodes.
Affix return shipping label securely to parcel.
Be sure your cylinders are completely empty by pressing the top pin with a blunt tool to release any remaining CO2. Do not mark, write on, or in any way alter the cylinder. Pack your empty cylinders securely in the return box and ensure the box is securely sealed.
What happens with the returned cylinders?
Every cylinder is returned to the manufacturers and after a thorough sterilization and inspection process, they are refilled with fresh food-grade CO2 and re-enter the production cycle as fresh new filled CO2 cylinders.
Can I buy gas if I have no cylinders to return?
Yes, that's no problem. Just shop online as normal and when these cylinders are empty you can return them for your deposit refund.
Where is your CO2 gas produced
All of our CO2 is produced in Europe.
- Aarke is a Swedish company and their gas is made in Germany from renewable biomass.
- CO2You is a UK company and their CO2 is sourced and bottled in the UK.
- Phillips are a Germany company and their gas is produced in Belgium.
