Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. If you order by 2pm we'll usually ship the same day for delivery the next day (ROI/NI). If your order is urgent let us know at hello@faerly.ie so we can prioritise it.

Archivist’s Safety Matches are a striking addition to your home for lighting candles and cosy fires. Each box features a colourful design created in collaboration with global artists.

The ‘Flying High’ design is inspired by Mexican folk art created by Louise Lockhart at The Printed Peanut. Louise originally created these designs using tomato puree tins and scissors.

These Safety Matches are 100mm in length, making them perfect for lighting candles and fires from a safe distance. The sturdy, reusable and recyclable box is beautifully illustrated and makes a wonderful keepsake or thoughtful gift.

Archivist, a husband-and-wife team based in the UK, are dedicated to the art of traditional letterpress printing. With the largest dedicated letterpress facility in Britain, they work with artists worldwide to create their range of colourful cards, prints, and matchboxes. Why we love Archivist matches: It's refreshing to find a brand that takes such a thoughtful approach to caring for our planet. They've carefully considered every detail - from their sustainably sourced wood to their recycled paper packaging (because a match isn't much use without its box!). What we really value is how they've gone fully plastic-free - all their cellos are biodegradable, so you can just pop them straight in your brown bin. They've also removed those nasty toxins like sulphur and zinc oxide that you find in regular matches. Everything they create can be either recycled or biodegraded, which fits perfectly with our values.
