Made from Eco Soy wax, Candelilla wax, Pine resin and Organic Jojoba oil.
How to use: To re-wax your Vegan Wax Wrap fold it if necessary and place it on a sheet of greaseproof paper on an oven tray. Cut slivers from your re-wax bar and sprinkle on top. Pace in the oven at around 100 degrees Celsius for a few minutes until the wax has melted onto the fabric. Lift off the paper and dry. Any wax left on the paper can be kept and reused later.
As the wax and resin melts into the fabric some spots of discoloration may occur. This is natural and does not affect the performance of your Bee-wrap.
Caution is needed when handling hot wax.
At the end of its life you can cut up your wrap into strips and add to your compost bin or use them as firelighters,” Hanna's top tip is to go out and collect pine cones and wrap strips around them to make your own fire starters.
Originally from Sweden, Hanna is also a keen gardener and her garden is also home to her flock of rescue hens.
