This Loofah with Scrubber is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic sponges. It is hand crafted from 70% wood cellulose and 30% cotton, with a natural loofah top and natural cotton string.

The loofah plant, also known as the sponge gourd, lends its fibrous interior to create a natural cellulose sponge that's tough on stains and grime yet gentle on delicate surfaces. It’s great for tackling stubborn stains in the kitchen, cleaning tables, countertops, tiles, sinks, and more.

Unlike conventional plastic cleaning sponges that release harmful microplastics into water systems and oceans, this kitchen scrubber is 100% plastic-free and biodegradable. Plus, it's washable and reusable, so you can keep using it again and again. And when it's time to replace, rest assured knowing it will break down and compost naturally, contributing to the solution, not the problem, of plastic waste.

To care for your kitchen sponge, give it a rinse after each use and squeeze out excess water. It's important to maintain and sanitise your natural Loofah regularly. It is not suitable for machine washing, so ecoLiving recommends cleaning your sponge in the dishwasher or immersing it in boiling water for a few minutes with a touch of clear vinegar. Hang your sponge to dry using the natural cotton string, or dry standing up.
