Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. If you order by 2pm we'll usually ship the same day for delivery the next day (ROI/NI). If your order is urgent let us know at hello@faerly.ie so we can prioritise it.

If you change you mind about any item, you can return it, unused, within 90 days for a full refund, excluding shipping costs.

With this borax substitute, you can remove stains from clothes, boost your laundry detergent, soften water, and tackle limescale build-up effectively. It’s great for cleaning surfaces, floors, baths, sinks, bins, and more. Made from sodium sesquicarbonate - a blend of soda crystals and bicarbonate of soda - it offers the gentle abrasiveness of bicarbonate and the powerful degreasing action of soda crystals. 

How to use:

  • All-purpose cleaner: Dissolve 2 tablespoons in 1 litre of hot water, spray or wipe onto surfaces, or sprinkle directly and wipe with a damp cloth. 

  • Stubborn stains: Make a paste of Borax Substitute, apply to stains, leave for a few minutes, then wipe. For a gentle scouring paste, mix equal parts of Borax Substitute, Bicarbonate of Soda, and salt with water.

  • Laundry booster: Add 2 tablespoons to detergent to soften water and enhance cleaning.

  • Laundry pre-soak: Dissolve 200g in a bucket of hot water, soak clothes, then wash as normal. For tough stains, apply a paste directly before washing.

  • Toilet cleaner: Pour 300g around the bowl, leave overnight, then flush to remove limescale and odours.

  • Carpet cleaner: Sprinkle on carpet, leave for 1 hour, then vacuum.

  • Bin cleaner: Mix with water to clean, disinfect, and deodorise.
